He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting, in addition to being a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and having completed studies in Cost Accounting in India.
Since 2008, he has progressed through several leadership positions, starting as Motor Insurance Manager, then Technical Manager, and eventually becoming Acting Chief Executive Officer. He possesses strong leadership and managerial skills, including critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure within a team-oriented environment. He has participated in numerous specialized technical training programs in the field of insurance, further strengthening his operational and technical expertise.
Serves as Finance Manager at KIB Takaful, with over 20 years of professional experience in accounting and financial management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mansoura University (2001) and has extensive experience, having held several accounting positions in commercial and real estate companies across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, which provided him with diverse cross-sector expertise.
He has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Al-Dawli Takaful Insurance Company since 2023 to date.
He serves as the Claims and Recovery Manager at KIB Takaful Insurance Company and has over 15 years of experience in the insurance sector. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kuwait University (2007) and possesses extensive expertise in claims management, life insurance, and risk assessment. He progressed through several leadership roles within the company, starting as an Insurance Officer, then Section Head and Deputy Manager, before becoming Department Manager.
He is distinguished by strong leadership and managerial skills in data analysis, decision-making, and claims settlement in line with best professional practices. He has participated in numerous specialized courses in insurance, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering, further strengthening his technical and managerial expertise.
Mr. Yahya Obeid is an Underwriting Manager with over 20 years of professional experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector. He has been serving as Underwriting Manager KIB Takaful Insurance Company since 2009, where he oversees operational activities across several insurance lines, including medical, fire, general accidents, marine, and motor insurance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, in addition to professional certifications from the Chartered Insurance Institute, and has passed several specialized examinations in insurance claims, motor insurance, and insurance law.
He possesses extensive expertise in underwriting, inward and outward reinsurance, risk management, and claims settlement, playing a key role in system development and improving operational efficiency. He has participated in numerous regional and international conferences and specialized training programs, further strengthening his technical and managerial expertise in the insurance industry.
